Ariana Grande’s “thank u, next” video is shaping up to be a seriously star-studded affair. We already knew the forthcoming release would reference four cult-classics films – Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, 13 Going On 30 and Bring It On. Thanks to a series of teasers, we also learned she recruited the likes of Jennifer Coolidge and Jonathan Bennett to reprise their iconic roles in the visual. Today (November 27), we got to see Bennett and a slew of other famous faces in action in the first official trailer. The latest preview is inspired by the Mean Girls scene where Regina George’s fellow classmates shed light on her infamous status. Only, in this case Ari is the HBIC.

Playing off rumors around the “breathin” diva’s career, Troye Sivan, Colleen Ballinger, Stefanie Drummond partake in some playful gossip. “One time on Twitter I heard Ariana was pregnant. So I got pregnant so we could be pregnant at the same time. Turns out it was just a rumor,” the heavily pregnant Ballinger said. Meanwhile the Bloom hitmaker poked fun at fans misunderstanding some of Ari’s lyrics. “I heard she’s a lesbian who’s now dating a chick called Aubrey. It’s fucking sick,” he said. Toss in a reference to Bennett looking sexy with his hair pushed back, and you have a playful reimagining of a cult classic.

Hopefully Ari will recreate scenes from the other movies in future trailers. I’m dying to see her do the Bend & Snap. The only question I have after watching her latest teaser is when the final product will arrive. The preview promised it is “coming soon.” Considering that “thank u, next” has maintained its place at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for a third consecutive week, my guess is it will be sooner than later.
