Thank god for pop miracles. And one of the best of those to emerge out of 2018 was the return of Ashley Tisdale. Last year the 33-year-old announced plans to stage a serious comeback. She kicked things off with the unveiling of her new single “Voices In My Head” in November. The earnest bop served as the first taste of her forthcoming, third LP – Symptoms. Today (January 8), the Oscar-robbed High School Musical alum announced plans to drop the album’s second single. Called “Love Me & Let Me Go,” it arrives January 25. The announcement came packaged with a new photo of the pop princess looking off into the dusk.

We don’t know much about the single just yet. However, Ashley did provide a bit of insight into the album in an Instagram post around the end of last month. While reflecting on 2018, she opened up about what the project meant to her. “I faced my demons that I’ve been running from straight in the face and created art out of it (@symptoms),” she wrote. “I would say this year has been a year of creating and being my most authentic self. I can’t wait for all the things I’ve been working so hard on to come out in 2019! I’m excited to continue to share my journey and be brave when I’m feeling vulnerable.”

Capping it off with a promise – “I am stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever and I am READY” – the icon made it clear she is ready for new adventures. Based on this and the song’s title, it seems like we can expect another confessional anthem. We’ll be counting down the days until it arrives. In the meantime, check out her announcement below!
