Big things are on the horizon for Tiffany Young. Last year, the Girls’ Generation member turned her attention to American markets with the unveiling of solo singles “Over My Skin” and “Teach You.” Toss in an original holiday classic – “Peppermint” – and she capped off 2018 leaving us wanting more. Thankfully, she is about to deliver. Today (January 25), the hitmaker returns with her new single “Born Again.” Produced by Fernando Garibay, it is a bit of a departure from the sassy pop anthems we know her for. This time around the 29-year-old bares her heart and opens up about the healing power of love.

“So bad it should be forbidden. So good, so deep, I feel it. I’m reborn,” she coos. “Your love is like a higher power. I’m born, I’m born, I’m born, again, again.” Vocals are served on the soaring single, and it could very easily shape up to be a breakout moment. Tiffany opened up about what the release (and its forthcoming video) meant to her in a press release. “This song and music video was a very emotional and personal journey inspired by all the tragedy and pain I’ve had to mask with a smile throughout my career,” she explained. “‘Born Again’ is symbolic of my passion to always fight to grow from these experiences.”

And it is just a taste of what she has in store this year. It serves as the first single off her forthcoming EP, Lips On Lips. The 5-track collection arrives February 22 and sounds very promising. “This EP is a rebirth to me entirely; mind body and soul,” she said. “It’s about my dark and light, my passion pleasure pain all in one.” With more music on the way and a sold-out North American showcase tour, it is safe to say the Tiffany will keep us on the edge of our seats moving forward. Press play on the single below and keep an eye peeled for the video to drop. We’ll update this story when it arrives!
