LÉON has big things in store for the rest of the year. The 24-year-old kicked off 2019 by extending her string of perfect songs with her Grey collaboration “Want You Back.” They also got together for the suitably heartbreaking video, and I’m holding out hope for the single to soar up the charts in the coming months. Today (February 1), she developed even more forward momentum by confirming the release date for her debut album. The self-titled effort drops March 1 and is sure to be massive. Considering the quality of the already-released singles “Baby Don’t Talk” and “Falling,” it is easily one of our most-anticipated projects of the year. To celebrate the announcement, the Swedish pop star rolled out another gem on the tracklist – “You and I.”

On it, she struggles to come to grips with a breakup. Instead of moving on, she dreams of reconciling with her ex. However, it doesn’t look too promising. “We don’t ever talk about it. But in my head you say you still want it,” LÉON admits. “That you’re done with being lonely now. It’s you and I.” She opened up about the track in a series of posts on social media. “This song ended up being the first song that I wrote for my album so it feels a bit extra special to finally share it with you.” The hitmaker also unveiled the accompanying video. “I had sucha good time running around barefoot while doing my moves inside this big old theater,” she gushed. Check out the “You and I” video up top and her forthcoming tour dates below!
