2019 is the year Miley Cyrus is expected to stage a pop-saving comeback with the unveiling of a new album. The 26-year-old got a jumpstart on the process by linking up with Mark Ronson on “Nothing Breaks Like A Heart” late last year. Since then, the duo has traveled the globe on an extensive promo tour, delivering must-see live renditions (and cute covers) every step of the way. But there were some other gems that came out of the tour. During a radio interview in December, the pop princess promised that more music was coming. “I don’t have any definite dates, but definitely in the new year you guys are gonna be hearing a lot more music,” she vowed. Now it looks like we may be getting the first taste very soon. Not only that, it is also rumored that it features an appearance from Shawn Mendes.

Rumors of a potential collaboration have been brewing on social media for a few weeks now. Last month, Miley added fuel to the fire by liking and commenting on a fan’s Instagram post about the possibility. It is worth noting that there is no official confirmation about the alleged song just yet. But it seems even more likely with the release of a new report and some additional evidence. Today (February 6), several unnamed sources asserted that the duet exists in a story on TMZ. Not only that, a series of rehearsal photos Miley posted seems to further link her to Mendes. In one, fans noticed what appears to be Shawn’s name on a piece of equipment behind her. So it is possible that they may be performing the track together at the Grammys this weekend.

While we wait for some sort of official confirmation, check out the latest evidence below!
