FLETCHER Returns With 'Undrunk'
She's back! The pop star returns with a brutally honest pop song called 'Undrunk.'

FLETCHER’s “Undrunk” is one of the first great pop songs of 2019. Produced by Malay, the relatable anthem finds Cari (her real name) dealing with the emotional aftermath of a breakup. The fact that she addresses the issue with brutal honest and still delivers pop hooks and an instantly hummable chorus is something of a miracle. Which has been rewarded by radio programmers across America. “Undrunk” is off to a flying start, sitting just outside the top 20 on pop radio — less than a month after release. The looming smash will get another boost from the cinematic video.

Directed by Emil Nava, the clip is an artful representation of the struggle to reconcile the past (good times at Joshua Tree with your gal) with the present (misery and loneliness in rainy New Jersey). Particularly when the past seems so much more appealing. It’s beautifully filmed, refreshingly understated and emotionally engaging. FLETCHER has been One To Watch since the arrival of “War Paint” in 2016, but it looks like she’s ready to take the next step towards pop superstardom. Watch “Undrunk” up top.
