Iggy Azalea Teases J. White-Produced Single “Sally Walker”

Iggy Azalea Interview
The rapper opens up about comeback hit 'Kream' and her aggressive, new EP.

Update: Iggy revealed that “Sally Walker” will be released in March, with the album to follow in the spring.

She’s coming! Iggy Azalea revealed the first promo pic for “Sally Walker,” the lead single from her long-awaited sophomore LP In My Defense. The rapper’s makeup was done by social media sensation James Charles and the stunning snap appears to have been taken at a video shoot. All of this points to an imminent release date, which is great news for music-starved Azaleans. Not only that, but it’s shaping up to be a banger. After all, “Sally Walker” was producer by J. White — the producer behind Cardi B’s “Bodak Yellow” and “Money.”

Iggy is doing things very differently this time around. She is now an independent artist (In My Defense will be released via the hitmaker’s own Bad Dreams label) and has complete control over visuals, scheduling and single choices. The 28-year-old threw it back to her mixtape days on the absurdly underrated Survive The Summer, so it will be interesting to see if she sticks with that aggressive vibe or mixes in a little pop with a feature or two. Check out Iggy’s flawless promo pic below.
