BTS Announces 'MAP OF THE SOUL'
The K-Pop Kings are releasing a new album called 'MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA.'

Another first! BTS will make history on April 13 when they perform on Saturday Night Live. They are the first K-Pop group to be given the honor and (I’m guessing) the first act that sings predominantly in a language other than English. It’s a testament to both the growing popularity of K-Pop and the star-power of the genre’s biggest act. No doubt, BTS will debut a couple of songs from their upcoming MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA album. It arrives the day before (April 12) and is destined to shoot straight to number one.

After all, that’s exactly what the boy band’s last two albums did. (Love Yourself: Tear topped the charts in May last year, while Love Yourself: Answer followed suit in August). In fact, don’t be too surprised if BTS racks up their fourth number one album in 2019. The PERSONA qualifier hints at a followup to MAP OF THE SOUL arriving later in the year. It will be interesting to see if the project can spawn another top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. I wouldn’t bet against them. See the SNL announcement below.
