A ‘Magic’ Rumor: Is Madonna’s New Single Called “Love Hard”?
The time has come for the Queen Of Pop to stage a comeback. It would be a massive understatement to say that anticipation is high for Madonna’s new album. She has been heavily teasing the imminent release of her 14th LP, rumored to be called Magic, for what feels like an eternity. Late last year, the “Champagne Rosé” legend implied it was entering the final mixing stages via a post on Instagram. However, since then she’s been photographed in the studio with Colombian superstar Maluma. It’s unclear what they were working on, but it may have been another song for the record. Luckily, it seems like we won’t have to wait much longer to find out. At least not according to Stan Twitter.
Today (March 15), social media lit up with rumors about the impending release date and title of the album’s lead single. According to one account, the LP is due to arrive this summer – between June 21 and September 23 to be exact. But it gets better. The single is allegedly set to drop sometime in May and is titled “Love Hard.” Where did they get the news? Apparently it came straight from Madge’s stylist Andy LeCompte. It is worth noting that fans are already discrediting the reports. That being said, we’re thirsty enough for any official news that we’ll at least entertain the notion for now.
