Edit: The post has been update with Louise’s slinky, sexy comeback anthem. Listen to “Stretch” below.

Well, I didn’t see this one coming. UK pop star Louise (and one-time member of iconic ’90s girl group Eternal) is launching a comeback. The 44-year-old will release her first new single in 16 years this week. In fact, “Stretch” arrives tomorrow (March 26) and is described as “mid-paced electric funk pop” and “instantly Louise” in the press release. I’m already on board! But wait, there’s more. The “Naked” diva will unleash her first album since 2000’s Elbow Beach on October 18.

“Making this album has been a real emotional and honest process for me,” she reveals. “It’s been 18 years since I went into a recording studio, and with no expectations I’ve come out with a body of work which I am so proud of. I can’t wait for you all to hear it!” And it looks like Louise called on some of the UK’s best pop songwriters and producers to work on the album. Collaborators include Clean Bandit, RAYE, Eg White, Sinead Harnett and Karen Poole. While we wait for “Stretch” to arrive, revisit some of the pop star’s biggest hits below.
