The UglyDolls soundtrack will without a doubt be one of the most star-studded blockbusters of 2019. Out today (April 26), it features contributions from a slew of famous faces and rising stars. Kelly Clarkson (who voices the film’s lead character Moxy) offered a first taste with last month’s “Broken & Beautiful.” Co-written by Pink and featuring production from Marshmello and Steve Mac, it empowers from start to finish. America’s original Idol lends her voice to several other songs on the tracklist. That includes two versions of “Couldn’t Be Better” and a pair of duets with Janelle Monáe – “All Dolled Up” and “Unbreakable”. The latter in particular is a gorgeous power ballad with an essential message.

Kelly and Janelle are in good company on the collection. Bebe Rexha celebrates self-acceptance on “Girl In The Mirror.” Over a string-driven production, she sings about learning to love her own reflection. “I could try to be like you,” she coos on the chorus. “But I just wanna be like me, the girl in the mirror.” Hopefully this gets the single treatment because it could very easily climb the Billboard Hot 100. Nick Jonas takes the lead on “The Ugly Truth” and returns for a reprise on “The Uglier Truth.” The former is all but guaranteed to leave you tapping your toes along to the funky groove. Meanwhile, Anitta’s “Ugly” is so good that it’s been recorded in three languages. And that’s not all.

You can also check out Why Don’t We’s “Don’t Change” or listen to Pentatonix take on “You Make Me Dreams.” Toss in a twangy ballad from Blake Shelton and a couple of ensemble numbers, and the UglyDolls soundtrack has something for everyone. Give it a listen below.
