Hold onto your wigs because Celine Dion is about to send them straight into orbit. The glam 51-year-old is showing off her impeccable taste in a gorgeous new photoshoot for Elle magazine. Shot by Tom Monro, she drips with confidence and serves endlessly fierce poses in every frame. Of course, the accompanying interview is equally iconic. In it, she reflects on everything from her role as a global spokesperson for L’Oréal Paris, the forthcoming release of new music and, most importantly, living her best life. “Now I am discovering myself more and more,” she gushed. “I am a woman assuming her own destiny, full of energy and in love with life. It’s never too late to start. At 51, I have the sense that I am at my pinnacle!”

The timeless diva also revealed she’d recorded a staggering amount of content for her new album Courage, which shares a title with an upcoming world tour. “I have about 675 songs, and I want to sing them all,” she said. Celine shared some insight into how her involvement with projects has changed over the years as well. “I had a great time when I recorded 20 years ago, but now I really feel like I can speak up. If I’m not part of my own project, what am I doing here? Crying at Valentino and spending money on clothes?” Of course, the launch of a new era cannot happen before she closes the doors on the current one – her self-titled Vegas residency. The show’s final leg takes launches May 14 and comes to a conclusion June 8.
