The Glamorous One returns with a deeply emotional new song called 'Feel Something.'

Adam Lambert will officially launch his 4th LP on May 15 with a new single called “New Eyes.” The 37-year-old announced the title on social media and shared the elaborate cover art. Of course, the “Ghost Town” hitmaker returned after a lengthy hiatus in February with “Feel Something,” but he was quick to point out that it wasn’t the lead single from AL4. “I wanted to give a gift to you to kick off this new era before I drop my first official single,” he wrote in an open letter to fans. “It’s a preview of the upcoming album and a song from me to you.”

In the same note, Adam also explained why the album has taken so long. “I love making and performing music, but there have been many times where I’ve had to compromise on my artistic vision, with executives making decisions based on money and not art,” he admitted. “Don’t get me wrong — I’m VERY proud of my body of work. But I’m coming out of a dark period of second guessing my own artistry.” If the title of his upcoming single is any indication, it looks like Adam is ready to navigate the choppy waters of pop on his own terms.
