Pitbull, Daddy Yankee & Natti Natasha’s Feel-Good “No Lo Trates” Video
The last time we heard from Pitbull, he was sampling Toto’s “Africa” on Aquaman soundtrack single “Ocean To Ocean.” Mr. Worldwide takes a very different approach on “No Lo Trates,” a reggaeton banger featuring Daddy Yankee and Natti Natasha. The party jam samples El General’s 1994 classic “Rica y Apretadita” and is certainly catchy enough to cross over like “Con Calma,” “Calma” (yes, they are two different songs) and “Con Altura.” The feel-good video will certainly help its cause.
The clip begins with the collaborators hanging out at a bar. Daddy Yankee and Pit each get a moment to shine when they deliver their respective verses, while Natti adds a little glamor as she takes the stage for the chorus. Two years have passed since Mr. 305 dropped the (underrated) Climate Change, so it’s about time for album 11. It will be interesting to see if it’s a Spanish-language release or bilingual affair. Needless to say, the opus is going to be jam-packed with bops. Watch “No Lo Trates” below.
