Get excited! Lana Del Rey is about to roll out new music. We’re still waiting on a release date for her incredibly-titled album Norman Fucking Rockwell, but, in the meantime, Lana is dropping a little something to tide us over. Earlier today (May 7), She hopped online to tease the arrival of a Sublime cover. The chanteuse is putting her spin on the seminal band’s 1996 song “Summertime (Doin’ Time).” And, according to her, it is “coming soon.”

Interestingly, “Summertime (Doin’ Time)” is something of a cover itself – Sublime’s version is based on George Gershwin’s “Summertime.” After listening to a teaser, it is clear Lana’s take is going to be every bit as dreamy as you would expect. “Summertime and the living’s easy,” she coos over an atmospheric production. I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely ready to hear more. Based on the preview, this is all but guaranteed to be another gem in her discography. Listen below.
