EDIT: Charli XCX revealed that her collaboration with Lizzo is called “Blame It On Your Love.” See the announcement below.

This week is shaping up to be a very big one for pop music. Kim Petras kicked things off by rolling out her latest confection “Sweet Spot” last night. And that was just the start of it. Friday (May 17) Carly Rae Jepsen drops her pop-saving opus Dedicated. That’s also the date Halsey unveils her forthcoming single “Nightmare.” It gets even more exciting. Why? Because Charli XCX and Lizzo are teaming up on a duet. The “Focus” angel confirmed the collab with a post on social media. “IMAGINE IF I MADE A SONG WITH @LIZZOBEEATING AKA THE QUEEN OF EVERYTHING – WOULD U DIE??? I WOULD DIE,” she enthused.

“PREP MY GRAVE ASAP WE GOT A BOP COMING THIS WEEK.” It’s unclear exactly when the single will drop and what its title is just yet. I haven’t seen any confirmation, but some fans seem to believe it is called “Blame It On Your Love.” If it sounds familiar, that’s because the title comes from “Track 10” off 2017’s Pop 2. I’ll take that with a grain of salt until we get some official news. But no matter what, this is sure to be a bop. The announcement comes after some photos leaked of the duo on what appears to be a video shoot over the weekend. Charli also hopped onstage with Lizzo during the New York City stop of the diva’s Cuz I Love You Tour.
