Grace VanderWaal has been on what seems to be a never-ending hot streak. The 15-year-old first charmed the world on America’s Got Talent in 2016. Since winning the competition, she has graced us with bop after bop. Earlier this year, she relaunched with the release of her surprisingly self-aware anthem “Stray.” Next up was her equally wise soundtrack contribution “Hideaway.” And Friday (June 28), the hitmaker retuned with her latest gem – “Ur So Beautiful.” Co-written with Ido Zmishlany, Brittany Amaradio, and Sophie B. Hawkins, the song features a feel-good chorus.

“Damn, you’re so beautiful. And don’t you know it,” she sings over the vibe-friendly production. “I think you do.” She shed some light on the track in a press release. “This song is romantic but it’s also empowering — it can be directed at anything or anyone,” Grace explained. “’Beautiful’ is always used in feminine terms, but when I wrote this song it was originally about a guy…but it’s also kind of a note to self… a song to boost your confidence. Like, I know I’m beautiful… don’t I know that? I always try to hide it but then when I’m alone and am looking in my bathroom mirror, I know I’m beautiful. I’m good enough. I hope everyone feels that.”

Check out the song and its lyric video (which Grace shot with her friends) below. After doing that, head over here to check out dates for her upcoming Ur So Beautiful Tour.
