Ed Sheeran is on a roll. The 28-year-old is gearing up to drop No.6 Collaborations Project. And he has been steadily sharing songs off the star-studded tracklist ahead of its July 12 release date. He kicked off the era with some distinctly summery vibes on the Justin Bieber-assisted “I Don’t Care.” That was just the start. Next up was “Cross Me” with Chance The Rapper and PnB Rock. Last week he joined forces with Khalid on “Beautiful People” – another smash. Today (July 5), he sweetens another New Music Friday with the gift of not one but two more songs.

And his latest releases showcase how diverse the mixtape will be. The first is his heavily teased collaboration with Bruno Mars and Chris Stapleton – “BLOW.” It is perhaps the most surprising song yet. Instead of trying to blend the trio’s eclectic sounds, they find common ground on a rock-infused anthem. “Pull my trigger, let me blow your mind,” they sing in turn over production from Bruno. The second song – “Best Part Of Me” – could not be more different. This one is a romantic ballad that features vocals from YEBBA. “You love me. Why the hell you love me so when you could have anyone else” they ask.

It builds up to a very loved-up chorus. “Baby, the best part of me is you. And lately everything’s making sense, too. Baby, I’m so in love with you.” This could very easily net Ed another hit in the style of “Thinking Out Loud” and “Perfect.” Both it and “BLOW” also have me even more excited to hear the rest of the project next week. At the rate things are going, No.6 Collaborations Project is shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of 2019. Press play on “BLOW” up top and listen to “Best Part Of Me” below.
