FLETCHER Readies ‘you ruined new york city for me’ EP

FLETCHER already released three perfect songs in 2019. The 25-year-old started the year with her biggest hit to date – “Undrunk.” Her brutally honest breakup anthem amassed more than 56 million Spotify streams and peaked at 61 on the Billboard Hot 100. Since then, she’s bared the scars on her heart on follow-up singles “If You’re Gonna Lie” and “About You.” She’ll do the same on her new EP you ruined new york city for me. As the title and previous singles suggest, the project – her first released via Capitol Records – is inspired by a failed relationship. It includes her last three songs as well as two new ones: “All Love” and “Strangers.”

“The whole EP is like an arc and a storyline of me moving to New York City and falling in love and having my heart broken,” FLETCHER explained in a press release. “Each song is like a moment in time, a feeling that I felt during the course of that relationship.” You ruined new york city for me arrives August 16. And it gets better. The project will be supported by the hitmaker’s first headlining tour. The international show kicks off with a set in Toronto September 3. It wraps after a final performance in Los Angeles September 25. Tickets are available as of today (August 2).
