Fall is rapidly approaching, but summer is not over yet. And the season just got infinitely hotter with the release of Megan Thee Stallion’s heavily teased “Hot Girl Summer.” The breakout artist was supposed to drop her latest single last week but announced a last-minute delay. Why? Because she decided to add on a verse from Nicki Minaj. Out today (August 9), it’s clear the collab was worth the wait. The rap goddesses are joined by Ty Dolla $ign over a production courtesy of Juicy J. Oh, yeah. It also samples a City Girls track.

Seriously, what a lineup. And they all cooked up something hot for the empowering bop. “Hot Girl Summer so you know she got it lit,” Ty sing-raps over catchy beats. Meanwhile, Megan and Nicki steal the show with fierce verses. “Handle Me? Who gon’ handle me? Thinking’ he’s a player. He’s a member of the team,” the “Big Ole Freak” hitmaker raps. “I’m just a real ass bitch. Give a fuck about a trick. On some real ass shit, and we really with the shit,” the Queen rapper adds. Hopefully they get together for an accompanying video.

If so, the trio has all the makings for a chart-dominating smash. Press play on “Hot Girl Summer” below and let us know if you agree.
