New Adam Lambert music is coming in hot. Today (August 15), the 37-year-old took to social media to announce the impending release of the first half of his fourth album. Velvet: Side A arrives September 27. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait that long for a taste of the LP. The Glamorous One confirmed plans to drop a new single early next month. “SUPERPOWER” flies in September 4. And based on a teaser, it sounds like another vibe-friendly, retro anthem in the style of previous releases “New Eyes” and “Comin In Hot.”

Interestingly, the tracklist does not house any of the material Adam already shared this year. It’s possible the tracks will land on the second half of the LP, which doesn’t have an official release date yet. Or they may have not make the final project having already served their purpose of introducing the sound. We’ll have to wait and see. Either way, the rest of the album appears very compelling. With titles like “Stranger You Are,” “Closer To You,” “Overglow” and “Loverboy,” it looks like we should expect a couple romantic gems.

Check out Adam’s announcement and familiarize yourself with the tracklist to one of our most anticipated releases of the year below.
