5SOS Returns With 'Easier'
5 Seconds Of Summer introduces their 4th album with new single, 'Easier.'

5 Seconds Of Summer already has one of the best singles of 2019 under their collective belt with “Easier.” That synth-rock concoction showed the Aussie band in a whole new light, one that hints at bigger and better things for album number four. We’ll get a better idea of 5SOS’ new era when they roll out “Teeth” tomorrow (August 21) at 9am PT. Luke Hemmings & Co. will drop the video simultaneously, and it looks pleasingly ominous from the preview that just went up on their social pages.

The clip begins with the guys reclining in dental chairs, while a group of creepy dentists hover around them. Heavy guitar riffs kick around the halfway mark as the whole thing descends into a nightmarish scenario that will terrify anyone scared of a trip to the dentist. If this is any indication, 5 Seconds Of Summer is taking it in a darker, more industrial direction on “Teeth.” It’s an interesting decision after the pop-centric (and very good) “Easier,” but it should please fans of their earlier material.
