Future Hit: Tones and I's 'Dance Monkey'
The Australian newcomer has a global smash on her hands with 'Dance Monkey.'

Tones and I ranks as one of the breakout stars of 2019 thanks to global smash “Dance Monkey.” The ruthlessly catchy track first exploded in Australia (her homeland) and then caught fire in Europe. It’s currently creeping up the charts in the UK and slowly making moves in the US. As such, now is the perfect time for Toni Watson to unleash her debut EP. The Kids Are Coming arrives today (August 29) and it’s jam-packed with potential hits. In fact, she is spoiled for choice when it comes to future singles.

The one-time busker could roll out LGBT+ anthem “Johnny Run Away” as her next international single (it was the lead single in Australia) or perhaps go with the mellow, mid-tempo gem “Never Seen The Rain.” If Tones and I is in the mood to drop another bop, she could always release the instantly addictive “Jimmy.” On the other hand, she might want to switch things up and go for a ballad (“Colourblind”) or perhaps make a political statement with “The Kids Are Coming.” Make no mistake, Tones and I is One To Watch.

Tones and I’s The Kids Are Coming tracklist:

01. The Kids Are Coming

02. Dance Monkey

03. Colourblind

04. Johnny Run Away

05. Jimmy

06. Never Seen The Rain
