UPDATE: Electric Guest dropped an animated lyric video for “More.” Check it out below.

Electric Guest will release their much-anticipated third LP, Kin, on October 18. The duo, which is comprised of Asa Taccone and Matthew Compton, announced the news today and rolled out a new single. Much like “Dollar,” “More” is a summery pop song with an edge. “I’m just waiting on you, waiting on me, waiting on something to come my way,” Asa sings on the pre-chorus. “Sometimes it’s hard to know what I’m living for, but I come back again each day.” The reason? “‘Cause I want more, more, more.”

“We wrote ‘More’ for anyone who feels like they’re searching for something different than what our culture is selling,” the guys explain. “It was written with the hope that no matter how dire, despairing or seemingly impossible living can be, we are built for life and built to feed our best selves.” If you’re not familiar with Electric Guest yet, you definitely know one of the songs they have crafted for other artists. Asa was nominated for a Grammy for Portugal The Man’s “Feel It Still” and the duo recently featured on Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Feels Right.” Listen to “More” below.
