Kelly Clarkson’s talk show, aptly-titled The Kelly Clarkson Show, debuted on NBC on Monday (September 9). In addition to celebrity guests (The Rock, Ellen DeGeneres and Jennifer Garner among others), the enduring hitmaker also belts out covers as part of the “Kelly-oke” segment. And today’s choice was a ripper. America’s sweetheart delivered a blistering version of Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance,” which immediately got the studio audience on their feet. As nice as it is to see Kelly on our TV screens every day, this made me hungrier than ever for new music.

Not that she has been exactly stingy with material. Since dropping the extremely underrated Meaning Of Life in 2017, Kelly has dished up “Broken & Beautiful” from the Ugly Dolls soundtrack and “Never Enough” from The Greatest Showman: Reimagined. The 37-year-old has also blessed us with a bunch of collaborations. The pop star teamed up with Dan + Shay for “Keeping Score” and joined forces with Trisha Yearwood on “Tell Me Something I Don’t Know” (among others). Watch Kelly do Lady Gaga’s best song justice below.
