Pink & Khalid Cross Paths In Their “Hurts 2B Human” Video

Review: 'Hurts 2B Human'
All killer, no filler. We review Pink's eclectic 8th LP, 'Hurts 2B Human.'

Pink’s 8th LP, Hurts 2B Human, topped the Billboard 200 upon release, but the singles haven’t really connected at radio. Which is insanity because the album is bursting with potential hits. Hopefully, the title track — an emotional collaboration with Khalid — will fare better. The enduring pop/rocker rolled out the video yesterday (September 18) and it cleverly shows us glimpses of the every day struggles of normal people. Pink mostly keeps her distance, singing alone in an apartment.

It turns out Khalid is in the next room over and he’s similarly going through it. The collaborators cross paths in the hallway, but ultimately go back to their lonely lives. It’s striking and intimate and, most importantly, captures the emotion of the song. Given its universality, “Hurts 2B Human” could be the breakout hit from the album. And if that doesn’t work, it’s time to rollout “Love Me Anyway” because that is a Grammy-worthy smash waiting to happen. Watch Pink do her thing below.
