EDIT: The post has been updated with Zedd and Kehlani’s “Good Thing” video, which finds the collaborators wreaking havoc in an expensive restaurant. Watch it below.

This week’s New Music Friday is shaping up to be particularly star-studded. Christina Aguilera is coming through with her song “Haunted Heart” from the soundtrack for The Addams Family. Then there’s a bop on the way from Maluma and J Balvin. But that’s not all. Zedd and Kehlani are also joining the lineup with “Good Thing.” The duo started teasing their collaboration a couple of days ago on social media. And, based on what we’ve seen so far, it looks like they have a hit on their hands.

Zedd broke the news about the track by sharing a brief preview of the catchy production on Instagram. Since then, he and Kehlani both uploaded a new promo pic, which implies that a video is on the way. In a new post on the super-producer’s page today (September 24) it looks like they may also be teasing the lyrics. “I’m good by myself,” Zedd captioned a pic of him at the piano. “Don’t need no one else,” Kehlani added in the comments section. Is the song going to be a self-empowerment anthem? We’ll have to wait and see.

Either way, it will be interesting to hear what the pair have up their sleeves. This marks Zedd’s first single since he joined forces with Katy Perry on the massively underrated “365” earlier this year. Meanwhile, Kehlani is fresh off a collaboration with EARTHGANG on “Trippin.” While we wait for it to arrive, check out some of their announcement posts below.
