Olivia Holt Is Back With A Catchy Banger Called “Bad Girlfriend”

Olivia Holt’s pop career got off to a flying start in 2016 when “History” went viral. That banger racked up more than 200 million streams and was certified gold. Since then, the triple threat has largely focussed on acting. There have been a couple of singles here and there (2017’s feisty “Generous” and a handful of features), but she has kept a relatively low profile — at least, musically speaking. That’s about to change with the release of “Bad Girlfriend,” which is an instantly catchy bop with huge hit potential.

“I think I took you home too many nights, ’cause I just like waking up by your side,” Olivia purrs in a verse. “Did I hold you a little too tight, it’s cause there’s something here that’s feeling right.” It might sound cosy and romantic, but it turns out the 22-year-old isn’t the relationship type. “You keep calling and I think you been falling but you deserve more,” she belts on the addictive chorus. “I’m a bad girlfriend… but I’d try anything for you.” Co-penned by Carolina Ailin, this is top-shelf pop.
