Stagecoach 2019: Diplo & Lauren Alaina
We recap Day 3 of Stagecoach including epic sets from Diplo and Lauren Alaina.

Lauren Alaina has become one of country’s favorite voices since being discovered on the 10th season of American Idol. Since then, the 24-year-old has topped the country charts twice (“Road Less Traveled” and “What Ifs”) and released two very good albums. She has been chipping away at LA3 for a while, but now has momentum on her side thanks to spot on Dancing With The Stars and a new single called “Getting Good.” The breezy track serves homespun wisdom over a fairly traditional country arrangement.

“Once I fall in love, then I’ll be happy,” Lauren begins the track. “But then you fall in love and there’s still a hole.” The hitmaker then lists all the things that are supposed to make you happy, but don’t, before coming to a conclusion (of sorts) on the chorus. “I’m thinking once I learn to grow right where I’m planted,” she sings. “Maybe that’s when life starts getting good.” Lauren might be on to something. Listen to the latest cut from the country star’s upcoming third LP below.
