The special blockbuster video for Bebe Rexha’s “You Can’t Stop The Girl” arrived this morning (October 15) and it’s every bit as empowering as the song. Directed by Sophie Muller, the clip begins with our heroine going for a morning jog with a group of strong, diverse women. That might sound straightforward, but there’s a magical touch. After all, this is the theme song for Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil (in theaters October 18). The pop star eventually ends up in an enchanted forest and has her very own fairytale princess moment.

Bebe’s soundtrack song certainly captures the Maleficent brand while staying true to herself. In addition to churning out soaring mid-tempo ballads for Disney films, the hitmaker recently celebrated her 30th birthday with the bad-ass “Not 20 Anymore.” She also scored a global hit via a feature on The Chainsmokers’ “Call You Mine” and brightened up clubs with Jax Jones’ “Harder.” It’s almost time for her to roll out the lead single from BR2, but, in the meantime, enjoy the epic visual for “You Can’t Stop The Girl” below.
