The Kings are back! Today (October 18) BTS joined this week’s New Music Friday lineup with a reimagined bop. What song did they put a fresh spin on for us? The “Boy With Luv” superstars teamed up with Lauv for a remix of “Make It Right.” Featuring a writing credit from Ed Sheeran, the catchy anthem landed on the septet’s chart-topping MAP OF THE SOUL: PERSONA earlier this year. And the updated take sounds like it could very easily become their next smash to climb the Billboard Hot 100.

“I was lost. I was trying to find the answer in the world around me,” Lauv sings on the opening lines. “Yeah I was going crazy. All day, all night. You’re the only one who understood me and all that I was going through.” However the “Feelings” crooner admits to messing things up in the relationship. And he asks for a second chance as the song unfolds. “I could make it better. I could hold you higher. ‘Cause through the morning, oh, you’re the light. And I almost lost you, but I can’t forget you. ‘Cause you were the reason I survived.”

Unsurprisingly, the remix rocketed up US iTunes. At the time of publication it is sitting pretty at the top spot on the service. That’s not all, though. The collaborators also dropped an official video for the song. That blends performance footage with an animated story. And the final result is shaping up to be another viral sensation for BTS. It amassed more than 3 million views in less than five hours of release. Give it a view below and let us know what you think.
