The pop star's arty 'IDGAF' video is a worthy followup to 'New Rules.'

At the beginning of October, Dua Lipa hinted at an imminent return in a subsequently-deleted Instagram post. “A new era,” she captioned a trio of pics. “Thank you for your patience. See you soon.” The Brit finally came good on that promise this morning (October 22) by teasing a new single called “Don’t Start Now.” A newly-blond Dua writhes in a chair while her new single plays in the background. As usual, it’s a club-centric banger that is destined to follow songs like “One Kiss” and “New Rules” to the top of the charts.

The final quarter of 2019 is shaping up to be something of a blockbuster. Selena Gomez returns with “Lose You To Love Me” tonight, Kesha is already promoting High Road, Coldplay has a double album on the way and there are persistent rumors of an Adele comeback. Throw in new music from Dua and we’re in for on onslaught of high-quality pop. Get a taste for the “IDGAF” hitmaker’s new single below. In a recent interview with British Vogue, she listed Prince, Outkast, Gwen Stefani and No Doubt as inspirations. Do you hear their influence?
