John K Drops “If We Never Met” Video Co-Starring Inanna Sarkis
John K (formerly JOHN.k) has a streaming hit on his hands with “If We Never Met.” The title track of the breakout pop star’s EP is a breezy love song that gently tugs at your heartstrings. “It’s obviously about a very special person in my life, but it’s so much more than that,” the Orlando native explains. “It also encompasses the story of the team behind the music.” He also felt it was a good introduction to his eclectic sound. “From here, we can expand outward sonically and get a little more experimental.”
“If We Never Met” is destined to find a whole new audience with the arrival of an emotional video, which co-stars actress/influencer Inanna Sarkis. The clip begins with John singing in front of a projection of vintage video footage. It then becomes a split screen scenario as Inanna joins in from her side of the cinematic barrier.
