The Charlie’s Angels soundtrack is one of the most star-studded releases of the year. Co-executive produced by Ariana Grande, her fingertips are all the collection. And she used the opportunity to link up with some very recognizable female voices. We’re already familiar with her Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey-assisted “Don’t Call Me Angel.” The bouncy bop racked up serious streams and rocketed into the Top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. However, the song that’s been on everyone’s minds since the tracklist appeared online has been her Nicki Minaj and Normani collab “Bad To You.”

Well, it arrived alongside the rest of the soundtrack today (November 1) and more than lives up to expectations. Laying their voices over a production courtesy of Max Martin, Ilya and Danny Schofield, the musical femme fatales find common ground while singing about love. In particular, they’re all rather candid about the best way to keep a partner’s attention. And the method is rather unexpected. “Why are you only good to me when I’m bad to you,” they ask on the catchy chorus. However, instead of being frustrated by the ups and downs, they seem to embrace the romantic battle.

The end result is a feisty anthem that emerges as an instant favorite in the mix. Press play on “Bad To You” below and let us know if you agree. Also, keep an eye peeled for a full soundtrack review. That’s coming in the very near future.
