We love to see talent win. This week Selena Gomez notched her first number one on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Lose You To Love Me.” The news comes today (November 4) after the heartfelt ballad debuted at number 15 on the chart last week. That was based on only two days of tracking. Since arriving, the song has become a certified streaming sensation. It amassed more than 82 million streams on Spotify in under two weeks. To date, it is still averaging more than one million listens a day. Meanwhile, the accompanying video has been viewed 110 million times. We stan a viral queen.

At the rate things are going, I don’t see “Lose You To Love Me” slowing down anytime soon. This is exciting news for the 27-year-old who bested her previous record on the chart. That was held by “Good For You” and “Same Old Love,” which both peaked at number 5. That’s not all, either. Selena’s “Look At Her Now” also debuts on this week’s Hot 100. Buoyed by strong streaming numbers (33 million on Spotify, 66 million on YouTube), it makes an appearance at number 27. All things considered, I’d count this as a perfect way to introduce her new era.

In other chart news, Lizzo’s “Good As Hell” soars into the Top 10 and lands at number 6. This comes after the hitmaker linked up with Ariana Grande for a high-octane remix. Meanwhile, Lewis Capaldi’s “Someone You Loved” descends to number two after claiming a week on top. In honor of Selena’s historic feat, revisit her anthems below.
