Flashback: Gwen Stefani's 'Early Winter'
Of all the gems in Gwen's discography, 'Early Winter' is the most underrated.

Believe it or not, Gwen Stefani’s seminal Love. Angel. Music. Baby. turns fifteen this year. Indisputably one of the best pop albums of the ’00s, the No Doubt singer’s solo debut still holds up today as a riotous mix of sub-genres and ideas. The Grammy-nominated opus delivered the iconic singles “What You Waiting For?,” “Rich Girl,” “Hollaback Girl” and “Cool,” and went on to sell more than 15 million units worldwide. To celebrate the milestone, Gwen is releasing a 15th anniversary edition on November 22.

While there is no new material, the album has been completely remastered by Chris Gehringer. The heir to Mariah’s Christmas throne will support the release by performing a medley of songs from Love. Angel. Music. Baby. on an upcoming episode of The Voice, which airs November 26. If you’re a super fan (like me), you might be interested to know that Gwen has reissued two items of original L.A.M.B. merchandise — a hoodie and a t-shirt — in her online store. While you’re there you can also pick up the standard edition vinyl.
