Album Review: Xtina's 'Liberation'
Was Christina Aguilera's 'Liberation' worth the six-year wait? Read our review.

Well, here’s some good news to start your week! Christina Aguilera will reunite with A Great Big World for a new single called “Fall On Me.” Not only that, but Xtina will perform the song at the America Music Awards on Sunday night (November 24). Of course, the vocal queen first collaborated with AGBW on 2013’s “Say Something.” The stripped-back piano ballad was a monster hit, climbing all the way to number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and going six-times platinum. Oh, and it also won them a Grammy.

Given the success of “Say Something,” expectations will be high for “Fall On Me.” But, from the extremely brief preview, it sounds like another haunting piano ballad. In other words, the kind of octave-challenging anthem the general public wants from Christina. Regardless of how the song ultimately performs, it’s nice to see the 38-year-old sticking to her word and releasing new music. The enduring hitmaker promised that we wouldn’t have to wait long and she was right. Get a taste of “Fall On Me” below.
