Kelly Clarkson, Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton & John Legend Cover “Neon Moon”
If you haven’t watched NBC’s The Kelly Clarkson Show yet, a) you’re missing out and b) each episode begins with a bout of Kellyoke. Over the past couple of months, Kelly Clarkson has performed killer covers of everyone from Rihanna to Post Malone, but today’s (November 21) episode was by far the best. The inaugural American Idol called on her cohorts from The Voice — Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton and John Legend — to join her for a surprisingly great interpretation of Brooks & Dunn’s “Neon Moon.”
There’s something joyous about this combination of personalities. It could all be for show, but they really seem to enjoy each other’s company. And it’s always cute to see Gwen and Blake face-off. In addition to The Voice, all four judges will have a busy December. Kelly will continue juggling two TV shows, John has reissued his Christmas album, Gwen is plugging her own seasonal opus and Blake, well, he’s still riding the “God’s Country” wave. Watch them all bring their A-game to “Neon Moon” below.
