UPDATE: Little Mix premiered a video in support of “One I’ve Been Missing.” Check it out below.

Little Mix is officially ready for Christmas. As the clock ticks down to December 25, we’re beginning to be inundated with a deluge of festive anthems. It can be a lot to take in. However, “One I’ve Been Missing” (the group’s first original holiday release) stands out from the crowd. Arriving today (November 22), the track is a sugary bop all about spending the season with a loved one. Making that prospect even better is the anticipation that’s been building for far too long. “I’ve been gone so long. But I kept holding on,” they sing. “‘Cause I need to show you just how much I love you this Christmas.”

If possible, it gets even sweeter. “Is it the lights in your eyes? They never shone so bright. I’ve waited all year to be near to the one I’ve been missing.” Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards opened up about “One I’ve Been Missing” on Instagram. “Can you believe this is our first ever Christmas single,” they enthused. “It’s a time of year that we absolutely love and this song is written about the ones we love sharing it with.” It’s also exactly the sort of gem I need to tide me over until the divas gift us with more bangers. Hopefully those are coming soon.

In the meantime, get ready for the jolliest time of year by pressing play on their latest below.
