The holidays are well and truly over, which means that now it is time to turn our attention to the next big thing on the horizon. What’s that going to be? Well, for music and sports fans it’s Super Bowl LIV. This year’s game takes place February 2 in Miami, Florida. The part I’m most looking forward to is the half time show, which stars Shakira and Jennifer Lopez. And promo is picking up with less than a month until the big event takes place. Shakira opened up about her role in a new interview with 60 Minutes.

“You’ll see me in all my splendor, meaning I’ll be, like, stressed out,” the hitmaker admitted with a laugh. She also shed some light on what message she wants her performance to share. “I think the message is gonna be ‘Listen, I’m a woman. I’m a Latina. It wasn’t easy for me to get to where I am. And being at the Super Bowl is the proof that everything is possible,'” Shakira said. “That the dreams of a little girl from Barranquilla, Colombia, they were made of something of what dreams are made of and I’m gonna be there, giving it all.”

“It doesn’t get any bigger than this,” Shakira gushed about the opportunity back in September. Revisit the tantalizing promo pic below as we dream up our ideal setlist for the show.
