50 Cent Says Puff Daddy’s “Big Homie” Is “Garbage,” World Nods Silently In Agreement

From 1999’s “How To Rob” to his ongoing tiff with Rick Ross, 50 Cent has made (and in the case of Ja Rule, ended) a career out of beefing. In fact, there’s a whole Wikipedia page dedicated to 50 Cent Feuds. But the further and further he gets from musical relevance, the more it seems to be desperation. The latest peer to come into Fif’s beef radar is his on-again/off-again target Diddy/Puff Daddy, whose comeback single “Big Homie” was deemed “garbage” by 50 in a recent interview with Baltimore’s 92 Q Jams.

While discussing the expiration dates of rappers, Fif complimented Jay Z and Diddy on their business acumen (a realm where 50 Cent has focused most of his efforts in recent years), but called out Diddy when it came to the new collab with Rozay and French Montana. “Puff’s still out there. He don’t even need a record. ‘Cause he don’t got one. Like, you know Puffy ain’t got no music that you wanna hear,” he said. “That ‘Big Homie’ shit is garbage. I’m gonna keep it all the way real with you.”

To say that people aren’t really “feeling” Diddy’s new track would seem mighty accurate, so this isn’t so much beef as it is harsh truth-telling. Equally truthful: Puffy probably doesn’t even know what Animal Ambition is. So, they’re all square.
