Former Destiny’s Child Member Farrah Franklin Reportedly Arrested For Disorderly Conduct

Before Destiny’s Child became the untouchable trio we now know and love today — Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams — the legendary R&B girl group’s line-up was something of a revolving door in their earlier years.

A brief, but vital history lesson: In early 2000, back when the group was still a quartet, original members LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett were unceremoniously ousted and replaced by two brand new members: Soon-to-be gospel-pop legend Michelle Williams (of “Say Yes” fame) and Farrah Franklin. And while Michelle went on to become the perfect third of DC3, Farrah quickly left the group and became an Independent Woman after just five months.

Farrah’s still making headlines as of this weekend…for all the wrong reasons, unfortunately: According to TMZ, Farrah was arrested in South Carolina yesterday, reportedly due to “disorderly conduct” involving alcohol. Read more about the charge after the jump.

According to a second report by TMZ, Franklin was reportedly found “laying in a random person’s front yard,” telling police she just wanted to “sleep in the woods” following a night out with football players Da’Quan Bowers and Ricky Sapp, who allegedly called the police after suspecting Franklin had been doing drugs.

This isn’t the first time Farrah’s been arrested for disorderly conduct, either: She was ticketed for the same thing in 2011 in LA. No, no, no! Let’s hope this is the last time.
