Katy Perry, Will.i.am, Nicole Scherzinger & More Sing In UNICEF “Imagine” Video: Watch
In celebration of the 25th anniversary of United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of the Child, UNICEF has paired with Yoko Ono and David Guetta to organize a star-studded singalong — titled the #IMAGINE Project. The sleek black + white video shows various musicians, actors, athletes and dignitaries coming together to sing the inspirational tune, first released by John Lennon in 1971.
Katy Perry, MAGIC!, Will.i.am, Nicole Scherzinger, Cody Simpson, Idris Elba, Lance Bass, Adam Lambert and many more make appearances in the music video, along with images of the late Beatles band member. The individual recordings will be compiled by Guetta to be released as a “world version” of “Imagine” on January 1.
