Folks, the year is coming to a close, and we’re all feeling a bit less uptight…including Lady Gaga, who hit up The Tonight Show last night with her Cheek To Cheek pal Tony Bennett and told a charming story about the time a 70-year-old stripper in Atlanta told the pop diva to take off all her clothes and sing. The pole-dancing senior then had Gaga autograph a beer can so she could crush it between her boobs.
Tony sat quietly beside Gaga as the story played out, seeming amused. And how do you follow up a story about ancient strippers with tin-destroying breasts? By performing a cover of Cole Porter‘s “Ev’ry Time We Say Goodbye.” Duh.
