It’s truly a joyful time to be Ed Sheeran right now!

Not only has the singer-songwriter just been nominated for a bunch of Grammy Awards in 2015, but he’s just notched his highest charting single of his career (to date) with “Thinking Out Loud,” the latest single off of x. The song has zoomed up to #6 on the Hot 100 this week according to Billboard, officially surpassing his previous x hits “Sing” (#13) and “Don’t” (#9), making this a major winning streak for the talented crooner — and perhaps only the beginning of the song’s Hot 100 Top 10 success.

Plus, his BFF Taylor Swift is enjoying some major success too! The unstoppable 1989 pop princess is enjoying her fifth week at #1 with “Blank Space,” making the song her most successful Hot 100 hit to date. Coupled with her 3 non-consecutive weeks at #1 with “Shake It Off,” the win also signals her ninth week at #1 overall in 2014, which puts her just ahead of Meghan Trainor‘s 8-week reign with “All About That Bass.” But wait, there’s more!

Meghan’s got bragging rights for the second time thanks to “Lips Are Movin,” which just moved up to #4 this week, giving her a second Top 5 hit in 2014. And just behind her, soul-pop crooner Sam Smith notches his own second Top 5 hit with “I’m Not The Only One.” So many wins this week!
