Meghan Trainor sings of being lovesick in her upcoming duet with One Direction‘s Harry Styles, titled “London Lights” — at least, in the snippet she performed recently at Capital FM Breakfast.

“Saying that you love that I got hazel eyes / and honestly, I won’t catch up on sleep tonight / I’ve been looking at London lights and missing you,” Trainor sings to a gentle ukulele melody. The winning pop songwriter calls the song “cute,” but fittingly there’s also a twinge of sadness in her voice.

Before Trainor previewed the song, she dispelled rumors that she and Styles are dating or even fooling around: “Did we scissor? No!” (To be fair, she was trying to read what host Dave Berry was suggesting with his hands.) Prior to this radio appearance, though, she did praise her duet partner’s songwriting.

“I was worried he’d just be a 20-year-old boy,” she said to The Sun. “So I walked in with a prepared verse and chorus. But he gave me very poetic, mature, lyrics. I was like, ‘Well, damn, Harry, you know what love is.'”
