Jess Glynne Covers The Weeknd’s “Earned It” On BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge: Watch
Jess Glynne has a stunningly soulful voice, so singing a cover like The Weeknd’s “Earned It” would be an easy feat for her! The UK chanteuse put her own spin on the slinky tune for BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge.
The Weeknd’s original version for the Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack is dripping with sex and has a lighter, falsetto tone. But for the “Hold My Hand” singer’s take, her throaty vibrato presented a different sound.
Glynne wrapped up this year’s SXSW with some awesome performances, and is currently working on her debut solo album — which is set to be released later this year.
