Britney And Iggy's "Pretty Girls" Video
Britney and Iggy head back to the '80s in their amusing alien-themed "Pretty Girls" video.

Britney Spears and Iggy Azalea’s “Pretty Girls” drew mixed reviews from critics and polarized fans. One thing most of us can agree on, however, is quality of the video. Yes, it lifts product placement to previously unimagined heights and I can’t see an Academy Award in either diva’s future — but it’s a hell of a lot of fun. And just kooky enough to become a cult classic like the movie it’s loosely based on.

Now someone with time on their hands and a knack for comedy has reedited the video without music. But not in a shady way. Sound effects have been added, so you can hear Iggy emerge from the pool and Britney grunt during her dance routine. It shouldn’t be as funny or charming as it is, but this soon-to-be viral sensation has revived my interest in a collaboration that was seemingly doomed (by a wave of irrational hate) before it was even released.
