Kanye was supposed to perform at the VMAs, but changed the plan mid-show.

On this, the 10th anniversary of Kanye West commenting on George Bush‘s opinion of black people, The Donald has commented on Kanye West‘s 2020 presidential announcement. (Side note: I feel like whenever talking about Donald Trump in relation to his current presidential bid, we should resurrect his super-wack nickname “The Donald” to parallel the super-absurdity of his campaign). Speaking of his potential future presidential opponent, Trump actually had some positive things to say about the rapper in Rolling Stone.

“He’s actually a different kind of person than people think. He’s a nice guy,” Trump said of West. “I hope to run against him someday.”

He added, “He’s said very nice things about me in the past… extremely positive things.”

In addition, West has the support of his “FourFiveSeconds” collaborator Rihannaeven if she booted him for Timbaland on R8. The star told MTV she hopes “he really does” run for president.

So, to recap: The guy is liked by Taylor Swift, Donald Trump and Rihanna. He’s a uniter of worlds, think what he could do for this divided nation!
