JoJo Strikes A Pose On The Set Of Her “When Love Hurts” Video
The long-awaited return of JoJo, with not one but three new singles, is arguably the pop event of 2015. The 24-year-old promised videos for all three tracks, but upbeat bop “When Love Hurts” is the first cab off the proverbial rank. A pic from the set arrived online today (September 2) and it finds the comeback queen striking a pose in a warehouse surrounded by male and female dancers. I’m getting “All The Lovers” meets “Vogue,” which is obviously a very, very good thing!
JoJo shed a little light on the visual when I interviewed her in August. “It’s not a narrative like [Rihanna’s] “Bitch Better Have My Money,” but it’s beautiful and it’s powerful and it’s colorful,” she said. “I am working with some incredible dancers and I want to showcase some voguing — things like that.” It looks like she accomplished that and much more.
